Japan international goalkeeper Song Bum-geun (26-Shonan Belmare) has suffered a fatigue fracture, making his participation in the September A match uncertain.
Song’s club, Shonan Belmaré, announced in a medical update on Saturday that “Song has been ruled out of training due to a fatigue fracture in his left ankle.” The exact timeframe for his recovery is unknown.
There is no exact timeframe for his recovery, but with two September A matches (Wales on the 8th and Saudi Arabia on the 13th) just around the corner, it is unclear if he will be fit enough to play.
Song Bum-geun has been Shonan’s starting goalkeeper this season. He has 44 goals against in 24 games across the J-League and Japan Cup.
The national team is in a difficult situation due to the recent injuries to Cho Kyu-sung (Mitwillan) with a hamstring, Lee Kang-in (PSG) with a quadriceps, and Oh Hyun-gyu (Celtic) with a calf.
With backup goalkeeper Song Bum-geun also out with an injury, the question is who national team coach Jürgen Klinsmann will choose as his replacement.메이저놀이터
Song has never played a match under Klinsmann, but has been called up for two matches in March and two in June.
