U-17 Asian Cup runners-up Byun Seong-hwan is getting ready for the World Cup.
The U-17 men’s national team, led by Byun Sung-hwan, will convene on Nov. 16 and train at Paju NFC until Nov. 25 in preparation for the U-17 World Cup in Indonesia.
The U-17 team qualified for the World Cup by finishing as runners-up at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup, which doubles as the World Cup’s Asian qualifier, in June.
Since then, Byun Sung-hwan has held one domestic training camp, and last month, the team traveled to World Cup host Indonesia for an acclimatization camp.
A total of 26 players were named to the roster. Goalkeeper Joo Seung-min (Jeju U18), Kang Min-woo (Ulsan Hyundai), Kim Sung-joo, Park Seung-soo (Suwon Matan), and Yang Min-hyuk (Gangneung Jeil-go) were recalled following the Indonesia training.메이저사이트
