South Korea’s baseball team at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games scored twice against Chinese Taipei to take a 2-0 lead into the bottom of the fourth inning.

Ryu Jung-il’s team is playing the baseball final against Chinese Taipei at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games on Sunday afternoon at the Shaoxing Baseball and Softball Sports Center 1 in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, China.

In the first inning, South Korea had runners on first and second with no outs. However, in the second inning, Moon Bo-kyung led off with a double to right field. A wild pitch loaded the bases and Kang Baek-ho grounded out to third, but Kim Joo-won’s sacrifice fly to left-center scored the first run of the inning. Back-to-back singles by Kim Hyung-jun and Kim Sung-yoon brought in another run on a wild pitch.

Moon Dong-ju pitched three scoreless innings, giving up two hits and striking out three.토토사이트

Meanwhile, heavy raindrops fell during the game, prompting the Taiwanese bench to call for a rain delay. If the final is canceled by the eighth day, Taiwan will take home the gold medal under the winner-take-all rule.

If the Korean baseball team wins against Chinese Taipei, it will be their fourth consecutive Asian Games title.
