‘191 Long Ace’ Abercrombie ‘pours in 29 points in lone game, loses second straight’

IBK has lost its second straight game to start the season.

The bank lost a three-game set against Hyundai E&C in the 2023-2024 V-League at Hwaseong Gymnasium on Nov. 21.

Abe Crombie (29 points) and Pyo Seung-ju (19 points) played well, but they couldn’t find their rhythm with Satter Ponfun.

Coach Kim Ho-cheol said after the game, “When we needed to score points, the attackers didn’t match up with the setter, which led to errors. There was a stutter,” but he also expressed his expectations, saying, “I think they will adapt to each other in the near future.”

Hyundai E&C, on the other hand, was led by Moma (25 points) and Yang Hyo-jin (18 points), while Wipawi (21 points) showed that she has adjusted perfectly after the opening three games.

Wipawi, who shot a high 56.25 percent on the day, used her quick feet to execute timely and concise attacks despite her small size of 5-foot-7.

Hyundai E&C took the lead in the first set when Abercrombie served a high service ace. HMC lost the set due to errors such as net touches and overnets.

In the second set, Hyundai E&C’s Yang Hyo-jin and Lee Da-hyun shined as they made a series of mobile attacks, fast attacks, and effective blocks.토토사이트

In the meantime, Hyundai E&C led 13-7 and 16-8 with Moma and Wipawi. IBK, led by Pyo Seung-ju, pulled within two points but could not overturn the deficit.

IBK pulled within 17-17 and 19-19 behind Abercrombie’s kills, but a net dig by Moma and consecutive points by Yang Hyo-jin, Moma, and Wipawi sealed the win. /2023.10.22/
