Japanese “golf legend” Masashi Ozaki’s protégé Ihana has won her first Japan Ladies Professional Golf (JLPGA) Tour event.
Lee carded five birdies and no bogeys for a 5-under 67 in the final three rounds of the JLPGA Tour Hisako Higuchi Mitsubishi Electric Ladies Tournament at Musashigaoka Golf Club (Par 72) in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, on Monday.
Her final total of 9-under-par 207 forced a playoff with Miyu Yamashita and Yuka Nishii. She birdied the final hole to take the top spot. She earned 18 million yen (approximately $160,000) for her victory.
Lee learned to play golf from Japanese golf legend Masashi Ozaki. With 94 career wins on the Japan Professional Golf Tour (JGTO), Ozaki holds the record for most wins in history.온라인카지노
Lee began her professional career in Japan. In 2020 and 2021, she totaled three wins on the Step Up Tour, a secondary tour. She started playing on the regular tour last year and won her first title in her second season.
Lee’s win gives Korean players on the JLPGA Tour a combined three victories this season.
Meanwhile, Bae Seon-woo finished the tournament in a tie for ninth place with a final total of 5-under par 211.
